They say Gravehammer wasn’t always his name.

Before the railroads carved through Brimstone County and before the graves filled faster than the church bells could toll, there was a quiet man who worked the cemetery hill. No one remembers what he was called then.

But everyone remembers the hammer.

It was a heavy iron coffin hammer passed down from the old undertaker. When the town buried its dead, he was the last man left standing in the graveyard, driving the final nails into pine boxes as the wind rolled through crooked headstones.

Then the Brimstone Syndicate came.

Rail barons, gunmen, and crooked lawmen who turned the town into a graveyard long before anyone died. Bodies started appearing in the ravine. Graves were dug in the dark. The church refused to ring its bells anymore.

And the quiet man stopped burying the dead.

Instead, he started digging them up.

They say the night he came down from the cemetery hill, the hammer was stained black and the scent of bourbon, old wood, and burning resin followed him like smoke.

The Syndicate learned quickly:

Some men carry guns.

Some men carry knives.

Gravehammer carries the tool that seals your coffin.

And when you hear iron striking wood in the distance…

It means he’s already finished digging your grave.

Gravehammer opens with the deep, dry aroma of coffinwood. Dark, aged timber that smells like old caskets stacked in a forgotten undertaker’s shop. It’s rugged, dusty, and masculine, laying down a foundation that feels ancient and unshakable.

From beneath the wood rises a slow pour of aged bourbon. Smooth and warm, with hints of charred oak and caramelized barrel sugars, it adds a rich, smoky sweetness that lingers in the air like a drink shared after a long night of work.

Threaded through it all is the sacred depth of myrrh resin. Dark, balsamic, and slightly smoky. It brings a mysterious, almost ritualistic edge to the blend, giving the scent a timeless, solemn weight.

The result is dark wood, sacred resin, and outlaw whiskey. A scent that feels like iron tools striking coffin nails, under the lantern light.
