The Writer’s Ghost is inspired by who Pat Archambault is as a writer, and the darkness he has overcome. His writing journey started in 2008, when his mother passed away from lung cancer. Over the years, he has built his skill set, penning poems as a means to purge his demons. This culminated in him self-publishing two poetry books under his writer moniker (the first in 2023, and the second in 2024). In his mind, the tragedies (and ghosts) of the past form a piece in the tapestry of who he is. Pat is a naturally dark person, with a heavy interest in the macabre. He also was born in November, adding to his autumn preferences. Growing up, his first cousin (once removed) exposed him and his siblings to her passions of the paranormal, Halloween, spooky stuff and the unknown. That love for those things has never left, and has become a core part of who he is.

The Writer’s Ghost as a scent is a culmination of all of those things that make him who he is- warm and inviting, while simultaneously cold and distant. The scents of petrichor, smoked sage and dragons blood provide a dark tapestry over your senses, while the black ink, autumn leaves and aged paper scream of the passion of a writer born in autumn.
